Orvieto Classico Superiore
Trebbiano toscano 51%, Verdello 23%, Malvasia bianca lunga 15%, Grechetto 11%
The vinification is a classic example of a modernized centuries-old protocol, i.e. soft pressing, low-temperature decantation, controlled fermentation at 12° for at least 20 days, daily pumping over on the fine lees until bottling. Aging of the bottles laid down in tuff caves for at least 8 months.
Intense wine with a deep but brilliant straw yellow colour. The scent is characterized by a scent of exotic fruit (especially pineapple and grapefruit) mixed with real apricot. Then come the herbs: Melis-sa, Cedrina, Aneto…
Excellent in combination with aperitifs and appetizers, but also with seafood and white meats.
